The International Undergraduate Class Program at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Indonesia is designed to produce graduates with global competitiveness through international-standard dental education. This program is a strategic collaboration between FKG UI and several world-renowned higher education institutions, allowing students to gain cross-cultural academic experience and the opportunity to earn a double degree.
Through this program, students complete part of their studies at Universitas Indonesia and proceed to partner institutions to complete research programs or advanced education according to their field of interest. The duration of study in this program is adjusted to the curriculum structure of each partner university, and may vary depending on the academic path chosen by the student.

Newcastle University is one of the leading research institutions in the UK, known for its academic strength in Biomedical Sciences and Restorative Dentistry. In this partnership, FKG UI students have the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in the UK and earn a Master of Research (MRes) degree. The program is designed to equip students with in-depth research skills through direct involvement in scientific projects, research methodology training, and preclinical simulations using cutting-edge technology in dental simulation and restorative dentistry. Melbourne Dental School (MDS), University of Melbourne, Australia
As part of one of Australia’s top universities, Melbourne Dental School has a global reputation for research-led teaching and a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry. FKG UI students participating in this program will earn a Bachelor of Medical Sciences Honours (BMedSci Hons) degree, in addition to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (S.K.G.) degree from Universitas Indonesia. The curriculum at MDS emphasizes mastery of dental public health concepts, forensic odontology, and preclinical laboratory skills. FKG UI students have the opportunity to continue their studies to the master’s level and earn a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Dental Materials or Dental Public Health.
