DDS Rieska Rachmasari, Sp.Perio is a lecturer in the Department of Periodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Indonesia. In addition to her role as an educator, she is active in clinical practice at various dental clinics in Jakarta, which strengthens the link between her practice and clinical teaching.
She completed her undergraduate and professional dentistry education at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta in 2015. Subsequently, she pursued her Periodontics Specialist education at Universitas Indonesia, which she completed in 2024.
As part of her professional competency development, she actively participates in various training sessions and scientific meetings both domestically and abroad, including:
– International Team for Implantology (ITI) World Symposium
– Asian Pacific Society of Periodontology (APSP) Meeting
– Short Visit Program at Niigata University, Japan
In the academic field, drg. Rieska is involved in teaching and research in the areas of periodontal tissue regeneration and reconstruction, as well as dental implants. Her research interests include the development of techniques and biomaterials for regenerative periodontal treatment and the application of the latest technology in clinical periodontics practice.
She is also an active member of several professional organizations, including:
– Indonesian Society of Periodontology (IPERI)
– International Team for Implantology (ITI)
Through a combination of academic activities, research, and clinical practice, drg. Rieska is committed to continuing her contribution to the development of periodontology in Indonesia, particularly in the fields of regenerative and reconstructive therapy.
