
This program is the first specialization in Indonesia dedicated to the science of Forensic Odontology, supporting legal processes, disaster victim identification, and clinical forensic examinations. Graduates of this program are expected to be competent clinical supervisors, capable of performing forensic dental examinations and presenting their findings as witnesses or experts in court.
This program adheres to Perkonsil No. 83 of 2020, KKI Regulation No. 3 of 2020, and the internal regulations of the University of Indonesia. The study period is 6 semesters (41 credits) for dental graduates, and a minimum of 2 semesters (23 credits) for graduates of the UI Faculty of Dentistry’s Master of Dental Sciences (IKGD) program with a specialization in Forensic Odontology. Adjustments to the study period and credits apply to graduates of other forensic master’s programs, based on the assessment of the collegium and study program.
